Where are you from?
I’m from the West
What’s your daily routine?
I smoke a lot and try to eat vegetables. But for real, I'm a morning person, I’m usually up by 6-7AM. I usually check my music stats or work on something.
How would you describe your craft?
I try not to define it, I try to make the best music I can or whatever I’m feeling at the time. If tomorrow I say that I want to make a certain type of music no one can say that it’s out of my range since I don’t define my sound.
When do you feel the most creative/What’s the vibe when you’re making music?
I feel really creative when I wake up or late at night at the studio. Sometimes we’ll have sessions from 9PM to 5AM. It’s a legit 8 hour shift. When I’m making music I really try not to force it. I have rap friends now, we could be in the studio together but that doesn’t mean that we’ll automatically make a song together. I don’t force nothing, just let it happen.
What did you want to be as a kid?
Honestly I always wanted to be a rapper ever since I was kid. It got to a point where I wasn’t allowed to watch 106 & Park.
If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live?
Montreal for sure. Montreal is cool man, I still find out something new to do every other day and I’m still getting my french on lock.
What’s your favourite song of all time and why?
Money On My Mind by Lil Wayne, I just loved how vivid the red looked in the music video.
What’s next for you?
I just want to put on for my people, I want to empower my friends, make them believe in themselves. I’m trying to build myself and at the same time build them, so we can all eat.
